Weekly Tasks
These tasks should be completed weekly for the best results:
- Find another five to ten advertisers you want to partner with and apply to their programs.
- Create appropriate site content with affiliate links to promote your advertiser partners.
- Review your Overview snapshots in the Publisher Dashboard for actionable insights.
- Communicate with your key advertiser partners about upcoming special placements on your site, consumer activity and data from your site, and other pertinent information to build your partnership.
- Contact Customer Support with any technical questions or problems you encounter.
Monthly Tasks
The tasks below should be completed monthly for the best results:
- Run key program performance reports and review your progress. We particularly recommend you run these standard reports:
- Review your payment reports to check on your commission progress.
- Review your Google Analytics or other analytics for actionable insights on which content page perform best, what visitors search for, conversions, and more.
- Fine-tune your top content pages based on your insights from reports and other feedback.
- Review the Rakuten Advertising schedule of DealMaker and industry events, and plan to attend those relevant to your business model and budget.
Other Tasks
- Attend a Rakuten Advertising DealMaker Event at least annually to make and maintain affiliate relationships.
- Invest in professional affiliate marketing advanced training programs for your professional development.
