Options for Becoming LGPD Compliant

The LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados ) aims to unify over 40 different statutes that currently govern personal data collection and processing within Brazil. It went into effect in 2018 with enforcement by August 1st, 2021. Due to the importance of complying with the regulation, we want to ensure publishers receive clear guidance and a consistent message from Rakuten Advertising.

Publishers have no obligations with this change. This is strictly for Advertisers.
