Bank Information for Great Britain

Dashboard Requirements for British Bank Information

If you select direct deposit in the Publisher Dashboard, you are prompted to enter the following account information. You can obtain your sort code and the account number from a check or bank statement for that account. You can also obtain this information from the financial institution where the account is held.

Example

The account number is numeric. If it is less than eight digits, add leading zeros. For example, if the account number is 123456, the account number you use is 00123456.

Savings accounts at banks are assigned a sort code and account number, just like checking accounts. For these accounts, follow the same guidelines as for checking accounts. The international routing code (sort code) is numeric and six digits in length.

 Note

Building Society collection accounts cannot be used for international ACH.
