Dashboard Requirements for New Zealand Bank Information
If you select direct deposit in the Publisher Dashboard, you are prompted to enter the following account information. You can obtain your sort code and account number from the financial institution where your account is held.
Account numbers in New Zealand use a standardized format of 16 digits. It is from these 16 digits you can find your sort code and account number.
- The first six digits of that number are what you should use for the sort code field.
- The next seven digits of the number should be used for the account number field.
- The final three digits are a suffix generally used by banks to identify the account type.
Note
The sort code should not be confused with the SWIFT/BIC code which is used for some international transactions.
