Introduction
Multiple marketing channels can be added in your Publisher Dashboard, each representing a different part of your program. As your program changes, you may need to pause the activity on or remove a marketing channel.
While the process is similar, it is important to understand the differences between pausing and removing before proceeding.
Pausing your channel means you can no longer form new partnerships with advertisers or earn commissions via that channel.
However, your existing partnerships will remain, and you will still be paid for commissions earned before you paused the channel. Once complete, the channel’s status will be tagged as Paused in the Channels tab. To reactivate, click Resume channel.
Removing your channel means you can no longer form partnerships with advertisers or earn commissions via that channel.
Removing your channel cannot be reversed. It will remove all partnerships and users. Advertisers can still view the channel in reports, and you will be paid for commissions earned before you removed it.
