Introduction
These are the changes or modifications you can make to your link code:
- Configuring the link code using the options available in the Publisher Dashboard.
- Resizing the image in a link.
- Shortening a link.
- Adding target="blank" to the <a> tag to open the link in a new tab.
Beyond these options, we recommend you do not change your link code. Doing so may result in the loss of the capability to track activity generated from your website.
If you must alter your code:
- Do not remove the 11-digit affiliate ID, or tracking code, after the id= tag.
- Avoid removing the 1x1 pixel that tracks impressions.
