Introduction
A private offer includes special program terms advertisers make available to select publishers. You can accept or decline the offer.
Typically, the terms of a private offer are more favorable than those of the public offers available to all approved publishers. For instance, an advertiser may use a private offer to pay you a greater percentage of a sale than they pay with their baseline offer.
An advertiser can also extend a private offer to recruit you into their program. Some advertisers do so by using a mirror baseline, which is a private version of their baseline offer. Accepting the mirror baseline brings you into their program.
View Private Offers
You will receive a notification whenever a private offer is extended to you. You can view private offers in the Offers tab of an advertiser’s details page or the Private Offers page. To access the page, go to Advertisers in the navigation header and click Private Offers.
The Private Offers page displays offers in two different tabs:
- The Existing Partnerships tab lists the private offers extended by advertisers you are already partnered with.
- The New Partnership Requests tab shows private offers from advertisers who want to partner with you and have extended the offer to recruit you into their program.
In either tab, use the search bar to find offers from specific advertisers, or click Filters to refine the results by:
- Offer type: whether this is a regular or special offer.
- Network: the network the advertiser belongs to.
- Auto-Renew: whether the offer has an expiration date.
Compare Offers
When viewing private offers, you can use the offer comparison tool to decide whether to accept the offer. The tool displays key information about the extended private offer, including commission details. Follow these steps to open the offer comparison tool:
- For offers extended by existing partners, click the Compare with current offer button to understand how the extended private offer compares to the offer you are already participating in.
- For offers extended by advertisers requesting to partner with you, click the Compare with baseline offer button to understand how the extended private offer compares to the advertiser’s public baseline offer.
Accept Private Offers
You will not automatically participate in an offer that is extended to you. You must accept the offer to participate in it. Additionally, you can only participate in one non-special offer at a time for each advertiser. This means you can be in an advertiser's public or private offer, not both.
The steps to accept an offer vary depending on the page you are viewing it from:
- From the Private Offers page, click the Accept button to participate in a private offer that was extended to you.
- From the offer comparison pop-up:
- Click the Accept extended offer button for existing partners' offers.
- Click the Accept offer and Join Program button for new partnership requests.
- From the Offers tab of a partnered advertiser’s profile page, click the radio button or checkbox corresponding to the offer you want to join.
You will then be prompted to accept the advertiser’s Terms and Conditions, as detailed below.
|
Offer Terms and Conditions
When you click to join an offer, you are prompted to review the advertiser’s Terms and Conditions. These vary per advertiser, so read the Terms and Conditions thoroughly.
You cannot participate in the offer unless you check the checkbox to indicate that you accept the Terms and Conditions:
You will be notified via the Notifications tab in the dashboard menu of any changes to an offer’s Terms and Conditions. You can also filter for offers with updated terms on the My Advertisers page.
Private Programs
Some advertisers choose to make their entire programs and all commission offers private. If this is the case, you will not find the advertiser in your Publisher Dashboard unless you are already partnered with them. If you have been invited to join an advertiser's program but cannot find it in your dashboard, contact Customer Support for assistance in reaching out to the advertiser.
