United States Sales Tax

Sales tax is a tax charged in the United States (US) on the supply of certain goods and services. Several countries around the world apply some type of goods and services tax, such as VAT in European Union countries, United Kingdom, and others; or GST in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and others. In the US, Sales Tax is not levied on the federal level, but at the level of state and local administrations.

 Note

Advertisers' taxes are based on the country in which they legally operate, which may not be the same as the network in which they operate.

Our system allows advertisers to report the sales amounts of items purchased, as well as discounts and cancellations or returns. Sales tax and shipping costs are not included in the transaction information we receive. If you have additional questions about how a specific advertiser handles sales tax on their site, please reach out to them directly.
