Transfer Master User Access

Introduction

You can only designate one master user per account, and there are many reasons you may need to change that master user. For example, a new hire, a change in duties, or a restructuring. Here is how to do it.

Assign a Master User

The master user must log into the dashboard, click on Account, then Account Details, and click on the Users tab.

  1. In the Current Users section, find the user you want to become the new master user and click the three dots at the end of the row.
  2. Click on Edit permissions. The user's name will appear with a drop down box after it.
  3. Click on it and choose Admin.

The former master user will become an admin user with all those permissions. The new master user can suspend the new admin user if they have, for example, left the company.

Transfer Master User Status

If you are the master user, you must follow these steps to transfer that status to another user.

  1. In the Current Users section, find your name as the master user and click the three dots at the end of the row.
  2. Select Transfer master user access.
  3. In the box that appears, select the user you want to be the new master user.
  4. Click the Save button. You will now be an admin user.

If the current master user is no longer with the company, contact Customer Support for further help.
