Cross-Device Tracking


Cross-device tracking is a feature in the Rakuten Advertising Affiliate platform that enables tracking conversion events generated by the same user on different devices through tracking links. Tracking these conversions is based on a click in a different browser or device from the browser or device where the actual conversion occurred.


By partnering with cross-device tracking-enabled advertisers, you will deepen relationships based on the data and be accurately credited.

Advertiser Features

You can check if your advertiser partners are cross-device tracking enabled by going to Advertisers then My Advertisers, clicking on the advertiser partner of your choice, and navigating to the Features and Services tab.

In the Features window, there will be a green check mark next to Cross-Device Tracking if they are enabled:

There will be a red X if they are not:

You can also check if this feature is available for your advertisers in the Consolidated Advertiser Report.

To check if unpartnered advertisers are also cross-device tracking enabled, go to Advertisers then Find Advertisers, and click on View full details for any advertiser. Navigate to the Features and Services tab to view their status.
